Why Should Your Child Master 3 Languages?
We teach English, Chinese and Coding which are the 3 Most Powerful languages for a future-ready child.
Early childhood is the golden time for language development. Research shows that children learn multiple languages best during the pre-school years when their brains are most adaptable and receptive.
1. English
- A global language which is essential for communication and collaboration.
- Fluency in English opens doors to knowledge and opportunity across the world.
- Essential for school and future workplace success.
2. Chinese
- With China's growing influence internationally, proficiency in Chinese is increasingly crucial for future success in the region.
- Non-Chinese speaking families have seen remarkable progress in their children.
- Even expatriate families have found that their children have gained confidence and fluency in the language much faster than expected.
3. Coding
- Considered the "language of innovation", coding nurtures problem-solving, creative and critical thinking.
- It's not just for the tech industry, it empowers your child to be a creator of technology and not just a user.
How We Integrate English, Chinese and Coding
We integrate all 3 languages into the daily curriculum with learning milestones tracked across all three. This ensures every child progresses confidently at their own pace:
English Immersion (Half-Day Daily)
- Children learn through storytelling, singing, phonics, reading and guided conversations.
- Literacy skills are strengthened through creative writing, hands-on exploration and thematic projects.
- Our Literature Alive programme introduces children to classic tales, Shakespearean stories, poetry and expressive language, helping them build confidence, imagination and a love for words.
Chinese Immersion (Half-Day Daily)
- Chinese is different from English because it is pictorial, not phonetic. Instead of teaching individual words, we group Chinese words based on their shapes and roots.
- Children learn these word families through rhymes and stories for better memory retention.
- The stories are made into animations to make meanings clearer and learning enjoyable.
- With our AI-driven Chinese learning app which uses the Chinese Rapid Word Recognition (CRWR) method, children can master about 50% of the P1 vocabulary.
Coding (Integrated Into Our Daily Curriculum)
- Through play-based hands-on activities using robots, animations and gamified platforms, children learn coding concepts like loops, sequencing, debugging and logic through fun challenges.
- With teacher guidance, children use generative AI tools in thematic projects to build simple robots, create animated stories and develop basic games.

Hear From Our Parents
"Over time, we could see the difference ourselves and our daughter became happy and confident about going to school again. We had a difficult period previously when our daughter struggled with the transition to a new teacher. I want to specifically thank Ms Linn, the principal, for how she handled the situation. From the moment we raised our concerns, she was patient, responsive and genuinely willing to listen."
"One of the things we appreciate most is the school's equal emphasis on English, Chinese and Coding. We feel this provides the children with a well-rounded foundation that is very relevant for the world they are growing up in. More importantly, the teachers are genuinely caring and dedicated to the children."
"ChildFirst's curriculum is strong and very well-rounded, with a good mix of indoor and outdoor activities, hands-on experiences and learning. What really stands out to us is that they genuinely love children. It doesn't feel like something they put on for parents - you can see it in the way they speak to the children."
"I especially appreciate the teachers' hands-on approach and how deeply they care for the children. When my daughter first started Pre-Nursery, she took some time to settle in, and I'm very grateful for the teachers' patience, warmth and encouragement, which helped her adjust quickly."
"The school recently organised a robotics competition amongst the ChildFirst Pre-schools, I fully appreciate the great amount of effort put in by the school. My child enjoys her learning and play at ChildFirst ever since she joined a few months ago."
"The curriculum is the same and something we really appreciate, and my daughter's transition to a new school has been quite seamless. She says she likes how big the school is and the indoor playground is much bigger. All classrooms have large windows allowing natural light in which is extremely important for their eyes."
